A homework sheet listing all the homework for the week is given to students every Monday, (it is also sent home in the weekly update to parents).
Please let me know as soon as possible if your child is having a problem with homework.
Language Arts -
Reading - It is expected that students read every night. I would rather not set a time limit, but if
your child needs that structure, 20 minutes is acceptable.
Students will also be assigned regular reading comprehension homework.
Writing - Occasionally, a writing assignment will be given.
Math - A daily assignment will be sent home and due the following day, (M, T, TH).
Bridges Homework Connection Workbook
Social Studies - Students will be assigned Current Events homework three times per year. Check the Current Events link.
Science - There will be occasional science homework that relates to the units we are studying.
Other - Students are encouraged to log on to Typetastic, that can be accessed through the CH site.
